Members are placed into Symphony Band by audition only.  Symphony Band is WBHS's
top band.  Symphony Band members will perform at four school concerts, and at
MSBOA's band festival.  They will also have the opportunity to perform at MSBOA's Solo and Ensemble Festival.

May 24, 2008  Congratulations on earning 1st place with a score of 96.0 at the Music in the Parks Festival in Oak Harbor, Ohio on Saturday, May 24th 2008.

Dear Band Parents,

We are requiring all WBHS band and orchestra students to pick one of the following options for the 2007-2008 school year:

OPTION 1:
What: Perform at MSBOA's Solo & Ensemble
What to Perform: A Solo, Duet, Trio, Quartet or Quintet (Music must be approved by Mr. Ebert)
When: Friday, February 1st or Saturday, February 2nd at Walled Lake Northern High School
Cost: $10 Solo, $16 Duet, $21 Trio, $28 Quartet, $35 Quintet (forms and money due by Tuesday, November 13th)
Piano Accompanist: Needed for all solos (Caroyln Thibideau is willing to play piano for solos at S&E (248) 363-5088)  There is a cost to hire a piano player for both rehearsals and the performance.

OPTION 2:
What: Perform at Finial Exams for a judge during band class
What to Perform: A Solo, Duet, Trio, Quartet or Quintet (Music must be approved by Mr. Ebert)
When: During Final Exams 2nd Semester 
Cost: None
Piano Accompanist: Not Required
